Whole World Band is an application which allows musicians to connect and collaborate without leaving their homes. Users can find others and create music through Whole World Band and share their creations with anyone, anywhere, anytime. The makers of the app asked me to create a short promotional video to be used online to attract amateur musicians to the website.

I decided to communicate the element of the app which allows people to share with others from other parts of the world, without anyone having to move from their location. I wanted this motion peice to visit a number of cities, introducing a new instrument in each. By the end, the instruments combine to create a song. To show the various cities I created the locations using paper. I recorded the paper cities on a revolving circular structure and made a motion piece, to which I added a piece of music that I created in Garageband.
